are already a diligent student in my class. J Clicking on the links should provide homework
questions, Aims, and possibly some extra material not covered in class (meant
as aids, not as requirements for the class).

Dictionary.com: Quite handy
when you are typing a paper and have Internet access handy.
-
Purdue University’s Online
Writing Lab: the best online writing guide I’ve seen. Check it out for general writing concerns,

-
Communications from Elsewhere:
An odd site, but check out the text generators.
One is proof that teen poetry is formulaic.

figure it out.

U.S. News and World Report: a site
to check out college rankings, though you do have to pay for much more detailed
listings.
-
The Internet Movie Database: A great
site to find information on casts and crews on various TV/Film projects. I’ve wasted many an idle hour looking at who
did what film with what other actor ad nauseum
-
WBGO’s website: In addition to being
a classical music fan, jazz is also up there.
-
Yehoodi: probably the most active
and relevant Swing Dance site on the web.
-
NYC.gov: Obviously. When you become adults and have to deal with
NYC’s real world problems, you can find some quick ways here.
